(6,397 posts)15. Before the Shah was overthrown in Iran, I remember EVERY prof and insturctor telling Iranian students NOT to speak
as there were agents of that despot on campus and speaking out would put targets on their backs. It was a tiny, rural community college in California.
People of other nations, faiths, cultures have all had problems on US campuses.
