11. I'll say! When I was a cheerleader (in the 6th grade), I had quite a different experience.

One game in particular, when the opposing team's cheerleaders used their much greater numbers to quickly learn our cheers, and then drown us out, inserting their team's name while stealing our cheers. It was brutal--and these were grade-schoolers.

So heartening to hear that kids these days, at least some of them, have evolved.
