though the reply # and time aren't on the same line as the reply title in this excerpt, as they are on my screen, where the display has them properly in columns.

The forum id numbers are the same, so you can use the navigation links you're used to in du3, then switch to du4 by changing the www to du4. Then, look at the 'breadcrumbs' links below the masthead that show the path to where you are.
