positions emotionally may make this seem attractive, the fact there are a good number of the Turkish population does not like what Erdogan has been doing, and are friendly toward Israel, arming the Kurds, would unite the populace behind Erdogan, and create more friction between Turkey and Israel.

The terrorist acts of the PKK against Turkey are very fresh in the minds of the Turks, and Israel would be viewed as contributing to this.

I think Israel has enough issues to deal with that this would work adversely against them
