more punishing to the victim. Say for instance you were raped behind a McDonalds. Then every time a McDonalds commercial came on you might have images brought up that you are trying to forget and want desperately not to have to keep living through. Nothing was done on her case all these long years and her brain might be screaming " Enough already just let me forget and have some peace of mind." Especially when it's before the public and sensationalized.
