1. This is a hard one for me in some respects

This shooting to me clearly was uncalled for, even if it was legal.

The defendant failed to meet the basic burden of proof of "reasonable fear of GBI or Death" required for the use of deadly force in self defense in Florida, both to a judge (SYG hearing) and the Jury (he was convicted).

I am black. We never get the benefit of the doubt from LEOs...even if you are one. BTDT

While there is some imbalance in the stats, this case seems valid. I don't see QuanellX, Farrakhan, or even the more rational public leaders of the black community supporting him.

Be very interesting to see how the judge sentences him.
