Iron Lake *is* the first Cork O’Connor book in the series. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but perhaps as the story progresses you’ll learn why certain things happened.

I’m always thrilled to introduce another book worm to an author whose work I really enjoy, so thanks for the shout out and hope you enjoy the books!
