One has Power of Atty, both are co-executors of my will. My original Documents are in a safety deposit box at my bank. Both girls have signature rights to that box, one has a key, the other knows where I keep my key. They also have signatory rights to my checking account and my meager savings account.
I have a DNR and notified my doctor of this.
I am over 80 and am finding life very difficult now and am done with all the problems of coping. As a widow of 15 years, I live on only S.S. My late husband and I managed a simple life, saved, college educated both girls without student loans.
I'm at a stage with nothing but one negative thing after another.
The girls know I don't want a funeral. Cremate me and bury me with my late husband and then go out to dinner and remember the good times.
I feel sorry for them in one respect, how to get rid of all the stuff in the house. Not fun in any circumstance. I've tried to downsize by advertising on local FB pages. No luck. No-one is buying the stuff we had for years.
I'm sick of all of it. Love my family. All I have is a very sick sister in Florida, my 2 girls and 2 grandchildren. Everything goes to them when they get thru all the estate stuff.
