4. From your description, it might be a double petal kalanchoe

Kalanchoes are succulents but will survive almost anything other than over watering. For mine, I wait until the soil is dry, saturate it (but don't get it soggy), then wait until it is dry again. They are very easy to propagate, just cut off a branch, stick it into water until it grows roots, then put it in a pot with a standard potting soil.
