Call your local AA Central Office and ask to talk with an experienced member about treatment resources in your area. They will know about any local resources and their reputation.

We have a couple here in the North-Central Kentucky/Southern Indiana area if you're interested. My SIL just used one in Indianapolis last year that wasn't too bad, although I think with some religious overtones.

You could also attend a local AA meeting, explain why you're there and you will be received with compassion and members will sit down with you and fill you with helpful information on resources. You do not need to be an alcoholic to attend.
