I used to LOVE "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead"... but now, I have no interest. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the same way?

I started to lose interest around the same time that Rick and "Coral" were written out of the show. I don't know if their departures is part of the reason I feel this way... but it could just be coincidental timing.

Did the writing change? Or am I just so weary of being a part of this real-life Covid-dystopian world, that a zombie-dystopian "escape" has no interest to me?

Or it's possible that after 10 seasons and 152 episodes, the novelty has worn off... it's a bit long in the tooth and my attention-span isn't what it used to be.

Maybe (for me) it's just exhausting to see our heroes suffer defeat-after-defeat and loss-after-loss. (My husband still watches, but our "date night" weekends with zombies and microwave popcorn have fallen by the wayside.)
