One of my dogs was attacked by a pit - it was off leash, mine on and it cost me thousands to have her stitched up and aftercare - owner of the dog gave me phony contact info - this was a few years ago - had to retire my girl from showing after that because of the scars - now she hates any dog outside her own pack.
