4. I found a drunk cold man in my barn one Christmas eve.

It had been making frozen rain, and this under-dressed man was desperately cold.
I invited him into my house.
His shivering shook the place.
I fed him hot food. And coffee. Hot shower.
I gave him dry clothes to wear while I washed and dried his very wet clothes.
I talked with him.
I gave him the spare bedroom for the night.

He was an agoraphobic person who had been evicted from his home.
He was way out of sorts.

It was okay.
It cost me nothing. Probably saved a life.

Don't be scared to be human.
Being human is very satisfying.
