His demeanor was calm, as usual, but you could feel the fire below the surface. He made it very clear he is not President Biden's lawyer or congress' prosecutor.
It is unthinkable that anyone would consider defunding the FBI, and he was passionate explaining what the result of that action would be. You and I frequently meet on your Friday threads about the week in Justice, and we often discuss how full their plate is. Most Americans, and apparently many Congress critters, have no idea how much they do to protect and serve.
