Price out necessities so that the protesting peons have no choice but to either work or starve.

I assure you that the top percentile will not suffer from any of this just yet. That is the plan as well. Watch how fast these things will disappear once they feel they have cowered enough of us to make sure we are compliant serfs and not human beings.

Being human is not profitable, after all.
