12. This makes me sad and mad that we still seem

to have too many stodgy and afraid of change people with this much influence in our party.

Nothing these young folks say is going down in concrete, we need the chance for us oldies to listen to what they see and think and say.
I am an oldy and I WANT to hear what they say. How about listening to younger women? ALL young people all of them. I particularly am interested in their ideas to keep LGBTQ issues moving forward. We worked damned hard on that in Kansas and we made a ton of progress but everything for anyone not male or straight is coming right back to the way we are "SUPPOSED" to be and I and so so many others do not want that slide back.

I am old, most of my pals that I fought with are old now too and there are not many able to butt through the walls it seems. We NEED these younger kids or we will just sink back to how everything was before and that was not good but we at least had a toe hold where people worked on this.

Damn, I was looking forward to that wonderful buzz you get when you are older and listening to younger people get excited and putting out jobs for us who sit and wait for our turn to help. When it was working here there was nothing better. It still works but there just seems to be a weight on their heads. Can't we do this without just punching them back down and discarding what might be good and successful ideas?

Hope this made sense...migraine...off for a nap.
