Sure, they want to "get around Congress"... they don't see Congress as an equal part of government, period. They're simply another piece of government to be rid of as quickly as possible. If trump felt like he could get away with it, he'd "fire" every single congress critter and nullify the legislative branch of government... then turn around and do the same to the judicial branch -- daring anyone to stop him.
