(20,447 posts)Of course he is going to be angry as to how he is seen. The man is going on 80 and his stamina is gone.
I noticed a difference in my husband 9 months before he died. He would normally stay at the Minnesota Renaissance festival with me by 5pm. In September of 2024, he tuckered out by 2 and took the bus early back home. He would say to me, "Call me when you are ready to take the bus home, and I will pick you up at the Transit station."
By Thanksgiving of 2024, he had really slowed down. His usual walking on the treadmill daily for a few miles waned. I was not aware that Congestive Heart Failure was taking hold. By Christmas, he had very little energy. Come 2025, he was bruising more in his hands and legs. He complained of being tired all the time. His cognitive abilities were being affected and his appetite was wanting as well. He grew more aggressive and comments to me about everything was taking its toll on me. By March after his 2nd bout in the hospital, it was becoming even more clear. The last stay sealed his fate that my husband was dying. May, he was gone. His heart wore out, the swelling increased, the kidneys and liver were shot. My husband was 80 when he died. Nor was it pleasant to watch. But now that is water under the bridge as I deal daily with him being gone.
This is happening to Donald Trump. He can deny it all he wants. The rigors of running a country and the stress of it is not doing him any favors. The rate he is going, I doubt he makes it to 80. I am not betting the farm on this, but my experience tells me Trump is running on fumes. There is only so much a broken body can do. All the money in the world cannot buy more time.
