Brown's position remains vacant.

So, I guess the holdovers from Trump 1 are actually doing their job? Surprise, surprise.

Still, 3 trump to 1 biden appointee doesn't sound very "independent" to me. Briefing on Motions for Summary Judgement from Brown and the administration are due to be completed by November 10, so he may be returned to his job in a few weeks.
