Emotional trauma, a dysfunctional family, bullies beating up on them in school, a lack of education and understanding of what being American means, who knows? But something in their mind has broken, and they have lost any sense of human values.

Money and wealth buy power, and they think that is the pathway to happiness and fulfillment.
