Without due process, there is no law. [View all]

Those that wield power will define the law the way they want. If they wish to pick you up on the street and send you to a concentration camp in Sudan, then there is not much you can do when you do not have due process to question your imprisonment. You are at the mercy of those in power. If we had a benevolent dictator, there would be less alarm, perhaps? But we have a malevolent, narcissistic dictator with cruel intentions. Without due process, all Americans are in jeopardy.
