(2,837 posts)26. I love "1776" now, but the first time I saw it, I was offended by Jefferson's
preoccupation with sex.... as portrayed in the movie.
'Course, it was on a 7th-grade field trip,
and I thought they portrayed him as some kind of sex maniac---
that was well before my own 'awakening'.....
So now I am very amused at the way I took offense at that...
