8. I went to the store today, too.

$239.00 for a week's worth of food for the three of us (with meat covered for only 2 days). They had something they called a "Tomahawk" steak. I'd never seen it before. The bone was huge, true... but there really wasn't that much "steak" attached to it. The price was $59 (for one!).

I'd hope to pick up a bit of fresh pecorino-romano, but had to put it back when I saw it's price tag of $17.00. It really wasn't a huge piece, really enough for two recipes I've got.

I guess we should be glad they sell us food after all. I mean, when will that stop for us democrats?
