A quote from Celinda Lake, highly regarded Democratic pollster.

“You can’t just be on the attack. You can’t beat something with nothing. “We have to show and tell what we would do, but I think that we’re on the precipice of a big opportunity, and I hope we take advantage of it.”

maga-tRump is on the attack perpetually. The have nothing to offer to move forward.

Attack global supply chains by going back to ninety or more year old tariffs.
Attack "woke" by being going back to 1950s racism and misogyny.
Attack the vote by requiring married women to prove their names or lose their vote.
Attack regulation by going back to the 1960s industrial and vehicle landscape.
Attack, attack, attack. Nothing forward looking. Stablecoin is not it.

Not just policy positions or esoteric groverning strategies, but tell the hurting people in this country what were going to do for them!!!

How about "A chicken in every pot", reinstate the generous child tax credit, something, anything that we can get excited about.

Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have been barnstorming the entire effing country with a positive message for months, and people say "well, the Democrats are silent, have nothing to offer"

BULLSHIT
Maybe SOME high-profile Democrats are waving fingers.

Here's an excerpt from an email I got from Bernie.
THIS IS GREAT STUFF and
It gets wild, enthusiastic response.
Expect even greater response as the wrecking ball hits more and more of the U.S.A.

From Bernie:

People attending rallies in huge numbers are saying
YES to raising the minimum wage,
YES to expanding Social Security,
YES to guaranteeing health care as a human right,
YES to cutting the cost of prescription drugs,
YES to paid family and medical leave,
YES to equal pay for equal work,
YES to more affordable housing,
YES to making childcare and higher education affordable to all,
YES to taking on the existential threat of climate change.

And most importantly they are saying
YES to a government and an economy that works for all of us and not just the billionaire class and the Oligarchs.

5. They are not the leadership. That's Schumer and Jeffries. They need to make proposals. They need to say what they are

going to do. Who is going to these rallies? Is it mostly people who would vote Democrat anyways? They need to do some tv ads about an economic agenda.

9. Of course, you are right. We say these things loud and clear and people nod and agree with most of them yet

the message gets forgotten or lost. Or it doesn't get picked up very much, if at all.

I may OP something.

STATUS QUO MUST GO.

Democracy is at stake. I've been posting about a National strike. No real response. "I'll wait until it's bigger"

So said many Germans.

Goddam it, we already have secret police and concentration camps.

IT MUST STOP NOW

Every day of acquiescence makes an end to fascism more costly in lost freedom and LIVES.

4. Lousy communication is why with 4 years in office we couldn't lock up a traitor.

We. Had. Four. Years. And. Trump. Escaped. Justice.

Rather than letting him talk freely as much as he wanted 24/7 on Corporate McPravda, a competing narrative explaining to the public exactly why the orange turd must be held to account would have resulted in a life where he belongs in the Supermax.

IMFO, that only would have been possible with President Biden taking the lead, personally.

6. It's not the communication. It's the fact that so many voters don't really trust either party.

That's why 40% of the voters are not registered as Democrats or Republicans.

how she would help us all.

Media pushed the lie that her campaign was only about bashing Trump.

I am so tired of these "experts" telling us what Democrats need to do.
