There's no understanding in an AI, no compassion, no empathy. No true understanding of a patient's needs.
Can an AI smile? Much is conveyed in a smile that can put a patient at ease; dissolve worry and doubt.
As much as the doctor reads the patient, the patient reads the doctor.
AI can be used in diagnosis and treatment plans, but shouldn't be part of the hospital's direct interaction with the patient.
This is all just casual indifference coated with technology to make people think it's great. It smacks of "we don't care".

and stitching up deep gashes and assessing semiconscious neuro patients after cracks on the head.

I don't know what this guy's major malady is but I suspect he's just another ignorant dumbass with extreme tunnel vision and who wants his AI stocks to keep going up forever.

Oh, and he's not only bullshitting, he knows he's bullshitting.
