Related: About this forumTrump dealt huge Epstein blow by his own party - Another Day - Brian Tyler Cohen
BTC: Trump yells at Marjorie Taylor Greene over the Epstein files. Shockingly, it wasn't a yell for transparency. This is just another day.
You know, if the holiday season is known for one thing, it's

Reporter 1: For many people battling alcohol and drug addiction, the holidays can be an especially challenging time.
Reporter 2: Domestic violence, we know in particular, spikes during the holidays.
Reporter 3: This season can intensify feelings of loneliness.

BTC: I was going to say generosity, but I guess the holidays are known for a few things.
But speaking of generosity, even Donald J. Trump has been thinking about other people lately. Thanks to a new report by the New York Times, Trump was worried that if the Epstein files came out, "My friends will get hurt." Ah, there's that holiday generosity that everybody talks about. Yes. in a story about the fallout between Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene...
(cut to video)
Trump: Some people call her Taylor Brown because green sometimes turns to brown.
(cut to studio)
BTC: My apologies. Marjorie Taylor some earthly color. The Times details how after a news conference where Marjorie threatened to identify some of the men who had abused young women. Trump called Greene to voice his displeasure. Greene was in her Capitol Hill office, and according to a staff member, everyone in the suite of rooms could hear him yelling at her as she listened to him on speakerphone. Greene says she expressed her perplexity over his entrance. According to Greene, Trump replied, My friends will get hurt."
And people said, "This guy doesn't care about the victims. How dare they?"
But this story is just one more example of how Donald Trump's administration is doing everything they can to keep these Epstein files hidden from public view. In just this week's latest dump of files, it was discovered that a photo of Donald Trump and Ghislaine Maxwell was on Steve Bannon's phone, which is surprising because most people assume the only photos on Steve Bannon's phone were pictures of Jeff Bridges so that Bannon could show his barber. But even more surprising was the fact that this photo of Trump and Maxwell was redacted because according to the Epstein Files Transparency Act that Donald Trump himself signed, it specifically bars the DOJ from withholding or redacting information on the basis of embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity.
What is the possible explanation? Neither of these people are victims, minors. In fact, both might be co-conspirators. But who knows? I guess if the man signs multiple marriage certificates and doesn't mean it, why would we expect anything different when it comes to laws?
And speaking of co-conspirators, newly released emails from 2019 show that federal investigators were actively issuing subpoenas to the potential Epstein co-conspirators, which directly contradicts Kash Patel's Senate testimony from back in September.
(cut to video)
Sen. John Kennedy: Who, if anyone, did Epstein traffic these young women to besides himself?
Kash Patel: Himself. There is no credible information. None. If there were, I would bring the case yesterday that he trafficked to other individuals and the information we have again is limited.
(cut to studio)
BTC: I would bring the case yesterday. I mean with the information we have some tough talk buttoned up with a very convenient caveat. I will hold every child molesting bastard accountable. Assuming the proper documentation has been signed in triplicates. The FBI does not tolerate any form of sex trafficking, but if it's merely some brief gridlock or a mild case of sex congestion, that doesn't count. Pedophiles won't get a free pass on my watch. Unless, of course, I'm not wearing a watch, in which case my free pass comment is null and void.
So, not only did this president yell at one of his most ardent supporters over her threat to release names of abusers, have his DOJ redact photos of him for absolutely no reason, and have his head of the FBI possibly commit perjury. There's also the whole timing issue.
(cut to video)
CNN Reporter: The requirement was that they would all have been released last Friday. That was the day for all of the files to become transparent that was mandated for the Justice Department. They did not meet that deadline.
(cut to studio)
BTC: Oh, come on. As they say, deadlines are made to be broken. No, wait--that's a, that's rules and sadly dreams. But it's just one deadline that they were legally required to meet. Is it really that big of a deal?
(cut to video)
CNN Reporter: And there's another deadline upcoming, January 3rd. That is the day when the Department of Justice is going to have to tell Congress, here's everything we did to redact in these files and the reasons for those redactions.
(cut to studio)
BTC: Now, that is going to be a good time. Although, for some reason, I don't feel like we're going to hear Pam Bondi say, um, we did it to protect the president and his pedophile friends. The reality is, when it comes to Donald Trump's never-ending barrage of bad press over the Epstein files, he only has one person to blame, himself, because Donald Trump is the master at weaponizing his base and getting them to march in lock step with him. He got them to do it with Hillary Clinton.
(cut to video montage)
Trump: A very dishonest person, crooked Hillary Clinton. And during that time and during
Trump: Everybody back there, the fake news media, look at all of them. [Applause] They're fake news.
(cut to studio)
BTC: And I think most people remember how he got them to do it with one of the main pillars of our democracy.
(cut to video)
Trump: We're going to walk down to the Capitol and we're going to cheer on our brave senators, and congressmen, and women. And we're probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them because you'll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong.
(cut to studio)
BTC: Yes. And as we all know, there's no bigger show of strength than breaking into an office shirtless, covered in body paint, and taking a dump on someone's desk (image of QAnon shaman displayed). But as luck would have it, as a tool to get himself elected, Donald Trump got his base laser focused on uncovering the truth about Jeffrey Epstein.
(cut to video)
Shawn Hannity: Bill Clinton.
Trump: Nice guy. Uh, got a lot of problems coming up in my opinion with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein. A lot of problems.
(cut to video)
Trump: A lot of big people went to that island.
Interviewer: It's just very strange for a lot of people that uh the list of clients that went to the island has not been made public.
Trump: Yeah, it's very interesting, isn't it? But yeah, I'd be inclined to do the Epstein. I'd have no problem with it.
Interviewer: That's great to hear.
(cut to video)
Trump: Here's my plan to dismantle the Deep State and reclaim our democracy from Washington corruption once and for all.
(cut to studio)
BTC: I believe that plan was I hope people forget what I said about Epstein. Now, not only did the president spend years ginning up anger amongst his voters by promising to dismantle the Deep State covering for the Epstein files. He also assembled an army that had done the exact same thing.
(cut to video)
Dan Bongino: You wondering why we're not hearing more about this Epstein case? I mean, the guy was only connected to just about every major player in the swamp internationally and yet, you don't hear much about it.
(cut to video)
Glenn Beck: Who has Jeffrey Epstein's Blackbook?
Kash Patel: Blackbook. FBI.
Glenn Beck: But who that is? That that I mean, there's
Kash Patel: Oh, that's under direct control of the director of the FBI.
(cut to video)
Donald Trump Jr.: I am on every list except the Epstein list. We haven't heard anything about that one in a while. Speaking of which, how is it that my father could be convicted of 34 crimes, but no one on Epstein's list has even been brought to light?
(cut to studio)
BTC: Wow. Don Jr. really displaying his beautiful mind level genius there. He's done all the math but still can't solve for why there's a Jeffrey Epstein cover up going on. He probably forgot to carry the one (pause) guy responsible. Donald Trump can complain all he wants that the Epstein files are a witch hunt, a hoax perpetuated by the Democrats, or just a bunch of fake news being peddled by the America-hating media, but this is a monster he created. He tapped into and exploited a feeling amongst his base, and now it's come back to bite him in the ass. And as proof of how little he thinks of those people who trusted him and voted him into office, he thinks he can simply point them in a different direction and their desire for accountability will disappear, just vanish. But thankfully, unlike Trump, millions of Americans are not okay with children getting molested. Unlike Trump, they draw a line in the sand at sex trafficking. And unlike Trump, they're not worried about their friends getting hurt because pedophiles are not their friends.
