There's always next year.

Home field is everything in the NLDS between Milwaukee and Chicago as the Brewers down the Cubs in game 5, 3-1. Each run came as the result of a solo home run. Each game was won by the home team, and really, only one was close.

The Cubs should have a pretty good starting rotation if Steele is healthy and Horton pitches next season like he did the last three months. There's going to be much debate over Kyle Tucker, who will probably get an offer from the Dodgers the Cubs are unwilling to better. But that's next year.

I don't love them but I don't hate them either. I don't care about Seattle or Toronto and I'm tired of the Dodgers. That leaves the Brew Crew, and they've never won the whole thing. A World Series between the Mariners (who've never been there) and the Crew would hold the most interest for me.

Also noted that most Cubs fans hadn't expected to get this far this year, but they did.
