As a longtime Cubs fan, I understand the agony of falling apart in the last few weeks (or the first few weeks!). But I'm still keeping hope alive for a Cubs/Tigers World Series.

(1,410 posts)I hold no animosity toward the Guardians at all. In fact, if the Tigers don't make it, I hope the Guardians do. After 2016, I was hoping they would win the World Series.
My mother and I used to visit cities where the Cubs were playing and in 2015, we went to Cleveland and the workers at Progressive Field were the nicest, friendliest people. Even though we were dressed in Cubs gear from head to toe, they smiled at us and said "Welcome to Cleveland!" That made a huge impression on me.
P.S. I also liked the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Even my mother, who hated rock and roll, liked it.
