I hate these on field interviews while players are in the field. Who the heck cares what Altuve's favorite Taylor Swift song is.

(43,342 posts)Its a distraction for a defensive player. The leagues have probably forced it on the teams. Ive watched baseball for at least 60 years and those interviews do nothing positive for the game.

I like focusing on the game, do not understand all the yapping that goes on now. Baseball is a great game, I don't need a side show. I am sorry for those who do.

(9,958 posts)...of talking to players while the game is ongoing. There is a much greater range of questions vs any end-of-game interview, which is over quickly.
As long as it doesn't interfere with the actual game.
