Can an illustration peak your interest?
Yes, it can. The front covers of several of this series has for me for years.

Would love to read those books again for the first time!

The first book didn’t keep my attention back when it came out so I started and stopped and started over many times. Then, my mother kept going on about how good the next two books were, and bitching about having to wait on a cliffhanger for book four, literally for years, so I finally soldiered all the way through the Gunslinger in order to move on. She was soooo right!

The Drawing of the Three, Wasteland, Wizard and Glass, and Wolves of the Calla are all some of my favorite King books and I’ve read them many, many times over the years. Some of my favorite characters live in them. I eventually loved the Gunslinger, as well, but when reading it again after finishing the whole series.

May you be well-met along the Path.

to Book 1.

At least I won't have to wait years for resolving the cliffhanger! Maybe a few weeks if the e-books are all being read by others.

I remember- there was a SF TV series back in the summer off-season; I was waiting for the Fall restart; that had such a cliffhanger - I wrote, and did little drawings for my own resolution!
