'In truth, there was no real competition, because this was the favorite among all of my testers. It was creamy, and the swirls of strawberry tasted like summer strawberries. There were lots of mmmms as they sampled, and one tester even exclaimed, It tastes like strawberry bubble gum!" which he said was an ultimate compliment. While one of the more expensive ice creams on the list, it truly has the most strawberry flavor, so buy it as a treat or grab it when its on sale!'
((Haven't tried it; guess I will.))

(50,882 posts)have you tried Tillamook? I see it in the store, I loved their cream cheese (no gums). If I eat any ice cream it will be low in gums, high in whey, which kind of limits the flavors. Ice cream is not all the same with different flavorings. They vary the content.

(1,097 posts)Tillamook's Marionberry is better as is their Huckleberry. McConnell's from Santa Barbara makes outstanding ice creams.
