"Mank" on Netflix.
Probably posted before, but we finally got around to watching this wonderfully timed and politically salient David Fincher movie. Plus it's dense, beautifully filmed, brilliantly acted, perfect casting, filled to the brim with wit and in general all things the Right detests. So it is not surprising that right leaning critics blast it.
Highly recommend everyone to watch it if possible. Would love to discuss.
Critics Consensus
Sharply written and brilliantly performed, Mank peers behind the scenes of Citizen Kane to tell an old Hollywood story that could end up being a classic in its own right.

(384 posts)The story and its cast draws the viewer into the making of Orson Welles RKO Studio's
Citizen Kane. It captures a moment of filmdom that was hinted at by the movie's homage.
I was totally impressed and would recommend !!!
