Just watched this on HBO. The best film I've seen in a long time.

Sometimes i think of them as Covid, sometimes as climate change, sometimes as death.

Being from Louisiana, I sometimes think of them as the storm that will wash away New Orleans, and then I remember that that particular auroch already came and did just that.

..ket me check, ok--found her...

Quvenzhané Wallis who played Hushpupy at age 6 is now 17. In 2014 played black Annnie, in remake of Annie with Jamie Fox; also atarred in 2016 movie Trolls; since 2014 to present has a role in television series Blackish; also starred in movie 12 yrs a a Slave. She continue to act.
