Related: About this forumZ-Soldiers Confess to Bone-Chilling Truth Right Before Being 'Eliminated'. - The Russian Dude
Z-soldiers are increasingly admitting a bone-chilling truth about Russias war in Ukraine: men are being processed as temporary material, thrown into brutal conditions, discarded after catastrophic injuries, and then quietly replaced while propaganda keeps talking about honor, liberation, and victory. This text centers on two striking examples. Alexei Bakirov from Kemerovo signed a Russian military contract on February 1, 2025, was injured just 16 days later, waited around 15 days for proper treatment, lost all toes and four fingers on his right hand, was still later classified as fit with minor restrictions, and then disappeared after being sent on another combat mission on July 22, 2025. Vladimir Laktyushin, the former head of the Rodina partys youth department, signed a contract on March 4, 2026, joined the supposedly safer and more technical Burevestnik UAV regiment, posted confidently on social media, and then vanished from public activity within days, becoming another example of how quickly even politically connected volunteers can be consumed by the system.
The larger point is that these are not isolated tragedies but part of a much bigger pattern inside the Russian army, where even pro-war voices now openly speak about pointless losses, exhausted units, disappearing soldiers, and commanders burning through rosters while official honors, patriotic speeches, and Guards status awards continue from above. The text also points to Mediazonas 203,306 verified Russian military names, while stressing that this is only a partial count because of delays, undercounting, and the missing Donetsk and Luhansk figures before September 30, 2022, meaning the broader real number of fighters who never came back may be moving toward the 500,000 scale. That is why the story no longer ends at the frontline. The same war that consumes soldiers abroad is also shrinking freedoms at home, with YouTube slowdowns, Telegram pressure, internet restrictions, blocked rallies, and students being warned away from protests, creating a system where the front devours people while the rear loses information, dignity, and normal public life.

(64,534 posts)1. Getting rid of Putin won't be enough.
There's a generation or two of military leadership that is probably mostly sociopathic or toxic to humanity. They need to disappear.
