CTA leaders Hugo Yasky and Hugo Godoy also said they would join the march in defence of Fernández Kirchner and, in particular, the lifetime ban on her holding public office. Like ATE, the union called for work stoppages.
“The attempt to ban Cristina is just another chapter in the story of revenge and hatred from the ruling classes. But the people always return,” Yasky said.
Buenos Aires Province Governor Axel Kicillof, speaking as head of the new Movimiento Derecho al Futuro group, said the former president was being punished “for governing in favour of the majority and defending national interests.”
Patria Grande leader Juan Grabois posted on social media that a “judicial coup” had been carried out, one which “degrades democracy” and deprives the people of choosing “the best president” Argentina has had “since Juan Domingo Perón.”

Remember the military coup, AKA Dirty War, from Argentina's brutal fascist oligarchs, with support from Henry Kissinger. It was estimated to have seized, kidnapped, tortured, murdered over 30,000 political prisoners, including Death Flights (chaining prisoners together and shoving them out of airplanes over the ocean, or large rivers) . They spied upon groups of grieving mothers and grandmothers, and tortured and killed some, including twin French nuns. The successors to these fascists remain, and still wield a lot of power. All the way up to former one term President, and friend of Trump, Mauricio Macri, and current president, and ally of Trump, Javier Milei. They tormented and attacked, including an attempted assassination, Cristina every day of office, and every day since. They fear her and her loyal supporters in the population. She has had an exceptional horrendous struggle because of their hatred and greed.
