I just checked local news coverage of No Kings Protest

I went to the protest held in April, to protest SS cuts. The Marietta Times reported that over 700 people were there. I went to the No Kings protest on Sat. Offhand, I'd say there were almost twice as many people there. It was held in Muskingum Park, and after the speakers, we marched to the Putnam St. bridge and protesters lined both sides. The lines on both sides of the bridge went further than the lines did in April.

Marietta Times chose to cover the Community Fest, which was in the park, alongside the protest and buried information about the protest in the story. To say they didn't emphasize the protest is an understatement, but I can't expect better. Marietta Times endorsed bush jr. for a 2nd term (which is when I stopped buying it)
