More than 90,000 New Yorkers participate in first three days of early voting
A total of 94,112 New Yorkers cast their ballots in the first three days of early voting in the 2025 primary, according to the citys Board of Elections.
According to the BOE, Brooklyn had the most voters, with 33,185 voters across the three days. Manhattan was second, with 31,036, followed by Queens with 19,186, the Bronx with 7,551 and Staten Island with 3,154, the BOE said.
The number of New Yorkers who have voted early so far this year is more than double the number of New Yorkers who voted early in the same time period during the 2021 primary, according to BOE numbers. In 2021, 43,720 voters across the five boroughs went to their early polling sites through the first three days of early voting, according to the BOE.
Over the weekend, 66,361 New Yorkers cast their ballots. The BOE said turnout Saturday was nearly double what it was for the first day of early voting in the 2021 primary.
