Erasing the name of a hometown hero is truly petty. What's even more galling is knowing that somewhere in the bowels of MAGA world taxpayers are paying some young white male to seek out and erase all of the people of color from history.
I'm waiting for TACO to rename the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) after himself, because it is the largest aircraft carrier in the U.S. Navy and the world. It will have to have his full name emblazoned in gold letters on the hull, as well as painted on the deck.
