I went with my family to the one in Tucker (ATL suburbs.) Lots of good positive energy, probably 1K-2K in attendance!

(4,557 posts)Actually really good turnout for really red area. Not good at estimating. A few hundred to a thousand or so. Upbeat, all ages. Indivisible sponsored, I think. On a corner, so people lined up along busy roads behind police barricades. Cars, trucks honking. One noticeable trumper gave us the finger, had an American flag posted from his truck bed dragging on the street as he drove. Typical and disgusting. There were other "No Kings" rallys today iin Gainesville, too. Unfortunately, we had one heat casualty from my understanding. All in all, a very successful, happy day.

(4 posts)This morning in Newnan, Coweta County, GA, very red, couple of hundred people, lots of young people, great energy. Of course the MAGAs drove by, some ignored us, lots of middle fingers, thumbs down, but lots of people honked, waved, smiled...It was a good morning.
Then this afternoon, I went to one in Fayetteville, Fayette County, GA. Goes without say, also red county, lots more people, estimate 1200, lots of energy, waves, horns honking, one of the protesters went up to a semi tractor trailer stopped at the red light and said , pull the horn and the driver did, everyone cheered.
Good day, but I'm exhausted.
