BREAKING: The Supreme Court *denies* Florida’s request to let it enforce its state crime immigration law during litigation.
No noted dissents and no one wrote anything.
The provision of the state law remains blocked.
The 11th Circuit unanimously denied Florida’s request for a stay pending appeal in early June, but expedited the appeal itself and it will be argued in October.
Notably, although it was a two-Dem-appointee panel, the third judge was a Trump appointee. https://www.aclu.org/documents/denial-of-stay
