It's finally on Britbox. I've seen all the Inspector Morse, but only a few Endevour on PBS.
I prefer the Lewis character to even Morse.
I don't feel he has chemistry with the Dr, though I enjoy her character immensely.
Dalziel & Pascoe are also a good detective duo. That's on Britbox, too

(55,528 posts)but then I plan to watch Lewis.
As an aside, I think the theme song to Morse by Barrington Pheloung is absolutely beautiful.

Phelong also composed the Lewis theme

(55,528 posts)I'm using. I rotate through channels. Watch what I am interested in on one, and then cancel that and move to another. I find if I don't do it that way, I'm paying for a lot I don't use. Only the PBS stays always.

I got a B-Box sub when I saw they held the complete BBC Time-Life Shakespeare series. Speaking of Brenda Blethyn, I had forgotten she was Cordelia in "King Lear." And can't forget young Alan Rickman's Tybalt in "Romeo and Juliet."
