Maddie and Laurie rode in a number of competitions, photographed professionally.




And won ribbons.

They continued riding at the old farm.







But mostly Maddie walked free.

Laurie and Maddie have ridden together at the new farm.


These days Maddie hangs out with her buddy Pete.

Around The Farm —
Barn Progress. Last weekend Brian and his friend Josh put down roofing.
Josh pulled sheets from the ground

carried them to Brian on the roof

trimmed sheets to fit

and handed them back up to Brian.

Laurie took pictures.

Including these two —
she put mats down for hay storage

and the barn so far.

I have known several ”horse people “ in my life,and they are so dedicated to their animals. What a wonderful portrait of Laurie and her horses in recent times!
