Dresden this spring

Since we were close we decided to take my daughter up to see Dresden. She wanted to see the Frauenkirche, St. Mary's. This was destroyed during the fire bombing and not restored until after the reunification. The old buildings which survived haven't been cleaned of the fire's smoke.

Hi Old Crank,

All the photos are just beautiful! You really did the area justice.

THAT FIRST PHOTO! WOW! I instantly thought "PROTEST". I can see those trees saying "Build all the manmade buildings you want and WE will still be here!" Man and Nature, the contrast stopped me dead in my tracks! Well done!

Thank you for sharing!

Some times I wonder about the eye. I've been trying to move the subjects around the frame a bit lately also.
