For those who follow astrology, the retrograde of Mars from December 2024 to February 2025 is a hot topic. During this interval, the planet will be moving from Leo to Cancer.

(4,371 posts)My camera is outdated. It is a meager Nikon L100, I have no tripod or other stabilizing equipment.
My thing for years has been to snap photos of the moon just for the fun of it.
As for astrology, I do not believe in it. But I do like the concept of certain aspects of the astronomy of the solar system. I think that retrogrades of planets are mildly interesting.
Keep up the great work with the sharp photos, and enjoy the holidays!

(6,455 posts)I used a Canon Rebel T3 with kit lenses for many years and got some decent moon shots. Over the past year I've decided to go the whole hog plus the postage and bought some quality lenses and a mirrorless camera.
I suggest posting your moon photos in Photography where they'll be seen by more eyes.
