There was no actual smoke involved, only the illusion of a smoking cigarette in the hand of a fantastical creature.

I think we both have an artist's eye (mine belonged to Marc Chagall ).
Or maybe we're just weird. 
I absolutely can see the Chagall effect in your work, a sort of dream-y playful quality that’s very nice.
