Tudor House Berwyn Illinois, probably 1930s

This home is just across the street from me on Euclid Avenue in Berwyn, IL. I thought it was so charming. Also I thought this might be a good subject for a photo contest in the future, old houses in people's neighborhoods

I love older houses, especially in the Tudor style.

My late aunt and uncle used to live in a large Tudor home that had a staircase that went from the kitchen up to a little bedroom and bathroom, presumably the maid’s quarters back in the day. It was always used for my Grandma’s guest room. I loved visiting there. They had a “breakfast room” and a library, too.

I enlarged the photo to see the wonderful stained glass windows. And how many!

Must have very very glamorous in it's heyday.
