As someone who has been into the Yosemite Valley, I am horrified to see all the smoke in the second photo. It saddens me that any part of that wonderful place has been burnt.

Nonetheless, thank you for sharing!

with trees. The meadows are a necessary part of a living landscape as you probably know.. And there was some 'beetle kill' as well. It will be much better looking in a few years. Even after two only heavy winters, nature around here bounces back incredibly fast.

These were from Oct. '23.
