The sky was hazy when I took this and several other test shots about an hour ago. Two sunspots are visible. As I'm typing this post, it's mostly cloudy. I'm hoping to get some shots between the clouds during the entire partial eclipse process, which begins at 2:06 pm and ends at 4:34 pm here in Lancaster, PA. The moon will cover 91% of the sun for three to four minutes beginning at 3:22 pm. Best of luck to all!

(21,420 posts)We are in Indianapolis right now, the closest place we could travel to that was in the path of totality. The eclipse was amazing, but I knew better than to try taking any pics without the proper equipment. That's why I'm looking forward to yours.
