So many will think Artificial Intelligence, not Al Kooper...which I'm sure was not your intention.

4. Only one of the reasons why

I don't like lots of abbreviations etc. I to me looks different than l and I would just note that I do sometimes fall into the "modern" habit of abbreviations but I try to do so in the context of having previously used the full reference such as only using SS if I have, in the same post, referred to Social Security or the Secret Service for example. Sometimes I also fall into the habit of capitalization of a word when it's not right to do so. I get sloppy about that sometimes. As in the case of artificial intelligence it has absolutely no reason for a capital A unless it was being used to begin a sentence but the convention accepted in discourse and media is to give it capital letters.

Really and truly instead of AI it should be ai or a-i for reading clarity. I take your point about how I titled the entry and agree it could look like the accepted form of abbreviation for artificial intelligence.
