Since the fans are the ones who vote, let us decide if they deserve to be in there, not some asshats that won't nominate them because they're biased.

(23,487 posts)4. Mana - had to google them... have not heard of them.
Maná Mexican pop-rock group. First Spanish language band nominated for Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. I looked on youtube too... songs with 333 million views. And others with hundreds of millions of views. They seem to be pretty progressive. One notable tidbit.... remember during one of trumps rallies he introduced someone named Nicky Jam and Trump thought it was a female.... turns out he did a collaboration with Maná years ago and Maná have now denounced him saying they don't work with racists.
Interesting

Maná supported U.S. President Barack Obama's 2012 reelection bid.[25]
In September 2024, in response to Nicky Jam endorsing Donald Trump for president,[26] Maná removed the song "De Pies a Cabeza," which they had recorded with Nicky Jam in 2016, from all digital platforms, stating that "Maná doesn't work with racists."[27][28]
